K9 for a Day, is a program I concieved in 2017, to bring more awareness, and provide socialization to local animal shelter and foster dogs.
In partnership with the Wisconsin Humane Society, Green Bay Campus and Key to Happiness Rescue, I take dogs with me on patrol. I get them out of the shelter and give them opportunities to be outdoors and riding with me during my duties.
Additionally, I try to document our experience and leverage social media to get their faces in front of more people in hopes that they will be seen by their forever family.
